Bar & Restaurant Reopening
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has defined its considerations to guide the safe reopening of bars and restaurants amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. In this guidance, the CDC suggests the use of physical barriers, particularly in areas where it is difficult for individuals to remain at least 6 feet apart, and physical guides, such as tape on floors or sidewalks and signs on walls, to ensure that staff and patrons remain at least 6 feet apart in lines and at other times.
Regulations vary state to state. Outdoor seating is open but indoor seating is only available at a reduced capacity (between 25% – 50% on average). With Fall approaching, restaurant and bar owners will need a plan in place to bring customers indoors as the weather turns.

HOW BIG ARE SOCIAL SHIELDS?
All Social Shields are free-standing at 72” (6’) tall. The plexiglass shield portion is 4’ in length and is available in four different widths: 3’, 4’, 5’, and 8’. The clear acrylic plexiglass is ⅛”-thick.
